Delta Hotels and Resorts presented a cheque to Habitat for Humanity Calgary

On Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 11:00 am, fireside in the lobby at the Delta Bow Valley Hotel, downtown Calgary the general managers of all four Calgary area Delta Hotels and Resorts presented a cheque for $20,000 To Habitat for Humanity Calgary. This includes Delta Calgary South, Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, Delta Calgary Airport and the Delta Bow Valley.

All four Delta Hotels and Resorts properties organized a successful summer 2009 BBQ Series this summer which was called the “Thrill of the Grill” all proceeds will remain here in Calgary and go towards low income affordable construction projects. At the beginning of 2009, Delta joined Habitat for Humanity Canada in a partnership that includes fundraising, volunteering and championing the cause of low-income affordable housing in communities across the country.
