You Spoke. We Listened.
You provided us with valuable feedback at the initial Open House in March 2009.
Habitat for Humanity has listened to your feedback and revised the draft plans for the Hamilton Place development as follows*:
- A total of 28 affordable Habitat for Humanity homes
- A total of 6 market homes
- The exterior finishing of all the homes will include architectural features that blend with the existing residential community
- A central Public Utility Lot to include a storm water pond including community water feature
- A public pedestrian pathway system connecting the Langdon park and the potential elementary school site
We believe this revised plan incorporates valuable community feedback and aligns with Rocky View County's Growth Strategy for "Inspired, Diverse and Sustainable" development in the region.
* PLEASE NOTE:
The current Area Structure Plan allows for single family development. An amendment to the Langdon Area Structure Plan (ASP) would still be required to facilitate the development of the revised Hamilton Place project.
