2009 Playhouse Raffle
The playhouse fund raising project for our Calgary affiliate of Habitat for Humanity has grown to become an exciting annual signature event, which has the added attraction of generating significant amounts of cash need to fund the ongoing activities of building real homes for deserving families here in our city.

History
Over the past twelve years, this project has generated over one million dollars thanks in part to Sunridge Mall who has been a wonderful partner.
Sunridge Mall has very graciously dedicated prime mall space to us during the very busy festive holiday season. Sunridge Mall takes great pride in hosting and displaying our little playhouses at their mall on the main level.
The playhouses are spacious and reflect the care that has gone into creating them. The detail and design is truly amazing over the years we have seen shingled roofs, hardwood floors, electric fireplaces, vinyl siding and recently included an eco-green friendly theme. Each playhouse is unique and outstanding.
What's New for 2009
We are thrilled to share with you that we have started a brand new venture and volunteer relationship with Corrections Canada Bowden and Drumheller location. Inmates participating in skills training programs will gain valuable expereince as they construct the little houses for Habitat for Humanity Calgary while providing the sustainable labour required to ensure this events remains viable for the forseeable future.
